Gradings are standard gradings - not "Live" - published by Chess Scotland for 2026-27
Last date to receive entries will be Wednesday, 7th October 2026
To convert from ECF ELO to Chess Scotland (CS)
Adults: CS will use the ECF 4-figure rating minus 100 points
(example: ECF 1200 will convert to Chess Scotland 1100)
Juniors: CS will use the ECF 4-figure rating without any deduction

Discounts
Chess Scotland members - £2 discount
Juniors who are 16 years of age or under on 9th October 26 - £2 discount
Juniors who are attending Primary school at 9th October 26 - £6 discount
Only one discount per player may be claimed
Conditions
The organisers reserve the right to:
Increase or decrease prize money
Transfer entrants between events
Split or merge events depending on numbers
Refuse entry without assigning a reason
Take any other measures deemed necessary to ensure the smooth running of the congress
